Controlling chronic disease through sustainable metabolic balance

Obesity and excess body weight are major, uncontrolled health issues in America. They are contributing causes of heart disease, Type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, stroke, liver disease, gallbladder dysfunction, sleep apnea, respiratory problems, arthritis, infertility in women, and a range of cancers. Taken together, they are responsible for shortening life span and compromising quality of life for millions of people. In addition, the costs of caring for those who suffer from these conditions are significant, and contribute to the rising costs of insurance and other health care delivery support systems.

Because the problems are widespread, severe and on the minds of many vulnerable people, the weight management marketplace is home to a wide range of gimmicks, disinformation and diet approaches that not only fail in terms of consumer expectations, but in some cases exacerbate behavioral tendencies that worsen the problem.

Diets, exercise systems and pharmaceutical-based programs that market a 'one-size fits all' approach simply do not work. There are a number of reasons, but all of them involve some measure of thwarted behavior change, inconvenience and frustration. Most importantly, these one-size fits all approaches are scientifically inconsistent with emergent knowledge in the critically important fields of genetics and epigenetics. With these factors operating, most people who try many of these commercial weight management programs have little chance of succeeding.

In reality, we are all different. We look different, we sound different, we act different, we come from different backgrounds, have different parents and grandparents, work in different environments and live in different places. Based on these indisputable facts, our approach to managing health risks is based on customization to each and every individual, honoring those differences, and defining pathways to healthy living that are yours and yours alone.

Our process is simple: a series of online evaluations identify the uniqueness of you in terms of metabolism, mind-body connection, behavioral tendencies and daily workload; based on those evaluations, we define your best path to weight management and overall healthy living; we then guide you there through push-notices delivered to your choice of receiving devices. The full program covers a period of 18-months -- the time required for induced and sustainable epigenetic change.
